As we all know, Korea’s 3 biggest broadcasting company KBS, MBC and SBS will hold their annual year-end music festivals.
The point of the music festivals is to be fun and exciting festivals after the series of award ceremonies ended.
Here are the updates of the stages and performances for each year-end festivals.

Dong Bang Shin Ki and Big Bang for first-ever joint stage ‘Star Wars’
2 of Kpop’s biggest names Big Bang and Dong Bang Shin Ki will have their first ever joint stage!
They will be performing together for SBS year-end concert ‘2008 SBS Gayo Festival’ set to take place on 29th December.
One of the staff for the concert announced on 24th December, “The 2 groups are preparing for a performance called ‘Star Wars’.”
It is also confirmed that Big Bang TaeYang and Dong Bang Shin Ki Xiah JunSu will also be having a showdown of musical composition.
“After the piano performance session, they will also have a song battle. Xiah JunSu is scheduled to perform first, followed by TaeYang.”
Big Bang for music drama with So Nyeo Shi Dae
Big Bang SeungRi and DaeSung will work together with So Nyeo Shi Dae TaeYeon and YuRi for a music drama for SBS Gayo Festival’s mini corner ‘2008 hit song music drama’.
Last year, WonderGirls and Big Bang did something similar on SBS Gayo Festival as well with ‘2007 Music Drama’ and it was well received. Hence SBS decided to do a music drama again this year.
The music drama goes about the showdown between SeungRi and DaeSung where they decided to make a cake to win over a TaeYeon’s heart - a new girl doing part-time job at the bakery. And YuRi plays a girl who got deceived in a one-sided romance.
Other than that, there will also be a joint stage between Rain and Lee Hyori, Dong Bang Shin Ki and Big Bang on 2008 SBS Gayo Festival set to take place on 29th December at 9.55pm.
