Lee Hyori will not perform on year-end music festivals
Lee Hyori’s schedule to appear on the music festivals of Korea’s 3 biggest broadcasting centre from 29th to 31st December has been canceled.
And there will be no special stage with Rain.
Hyori was found unconscious in her home on 26th December at 11pm and was sent to the hospital immediately. After some medical examinations at the hospital, it was found that she had pneumonia and was also undernourished, requiring at least 10 days of recuperation.
Lee Hyori’s company Mnet said, “For the preparation of her first solo concert, she practised and rehearse for about 60 days. She often skipped her meals for the rehearsals and she has about 6~7 kg. Already she is suffering from fatigue and also flu, and with not enough nourishment, she has to stay at the hospital to recuperate.”
“After her concert, she went to the hospital for some treatment. But in the course of preparing for the upcoming special stage with Rain, she has once again admitted to the hospital.”
Lee Hyori voiced, “After my concert, I want to show great performance at the year-end music festivals again. This is such a shame that I will not be able to make for the performances. I want to recover quickly in just one day and get back to the TV programs like ‘Family Outing’ as the healthy Hyori again.”
